Yoga is all about honesty. To live our yoga is “to be willing to let our false self fall”. It can’t be any other way. Becoming honest is the only way.
There is only one destination, and there is only one path. The destination and the path are also the same, they are merged into one — if the destination is truth, honesty is the path.
As layers fall, we become vulnerable. We accept our vulnerability to life. We no longer deny the truth.
Instead of constructing, we begin deconstructing. We begin shedding. We part from our old self — the self we constructed out of our false understandings about life.
We stop faking it. We stop running after things and people. We are no longer obsessed with our image. We return to our true self.
We become willing to step into the light and be seen for who we truly are. We choose being honest with ourselves over the approval of others.
We choose being ourselves over being desired.
And, we do this when we’ve reached the absolute limit of the amount of our own bullshit that we can tolerate.
This simple shedding of our old understanding and lies is what we call liberation.
